Hello Families,

Welcome to the month of May! It is hard to believe that we are now in the final two months of the 2021-2022 school year. We are planning for the 2022-2023 school year. We ask that you contact the office if you are moving out of the George Bissett School District for the new school year.

For everyone’s safety, we ask that you respect and follow the no stopping signs/no parking signs in front of our school. You are asked not to park or stop your vehicle beside the pylons or drive into the school parking lot between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00pm.

Primary Orientation takes place virtually tomorrow from 1pm-2pm. A link to the presentation was already shared with families. Contact Ms. Betts or Mr. Hurley if you have any questions. 

Yoga

We received a lot of positive feedback about the yoga sessions last week. Yoga combines breathing exercises, meditation, and poses that are proven to benefit mental and physical health. Yoga continues this week at school.

Student Success Survey

This week students in grade 4-6 will participate in a survey regarding their experiences at school. Click here for more information about the Student Success Survey.

P-6 Field Trip to Watch “The Lion King”

A reminder to send in your child’s permission form. Contact the office if you are able to volunteer.

Subway lunch takes place tomorrow and Little Caesar’s Pizza takes place on Wednesday.
