We had a grant to bring in Sportball to work with our Gr 1 students for 8 weeks. We have gotten a second grant for 8 weeks for Sportball to work with our Grade Primary students. It was a great first session last Friday. More info: https://www.sportball.ca/nova-scotia/
We had other guests in the school- Neptune Touring company was in on Friday morning, and Thursday we had Rocks and Rings (curling) with all classes on Thursday.
We are looking forward to our Grade ½ and Grade 3 classes going to Mermaid Theatre in Windsor on Wednesday for a field trip. This is a hot lunch day. Pizzas will be available for students to eat when they return but they will need a bag lunch for the trip.
There is some rain in the forecast but warm weather. Layers and a change of clothes. By lunch many students are looking to shed their winter coats and a hoodie or sweater is what they need to play in. And, with rain in the forecast, mud mud mud. Please send extra clothes.
