There was a Hold and Secure at our school on Friday October 19th due to a police issue in the neighborhood. It occured right before dismissal. Students were held for 30 minutes in the school. The Hold and Secure was held and ended on recommendation from the RCMP. If you have any questions, please check in with me at the school, or give me a call.
NO SCHOOL ON THE 26th! This is Provincial Conference day. Teachers from around the Province are getting together for professional learning. Support staff will also be taking part in professional learning.
Halloween Howl: Mark your calendar for the 25th. Our Halloween Howl will have a dance, haunted maze, and glow room. It will cost $5 a student or $10 a family. This is open for ALL our families. Costumes can have masks.

New Lunch Activity: We have a Capoeira group starting for gr 4-6 students. It is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics,and music.
